THERE ARE CURRENTLY NO VACANCIES AT MAROLT RANCH.   Unit description and additional information...        Located just 1/4 mile from downtown Aspen. The Marolt Ranch is a seasonal housing project owned and operated by the City of Aspen. To hold your unit, security deposit, 1st month's and last month's rent are needed.  The current rental rate is $1,030.00 per month. The security deposit is equal to one month's rent.  You will be responsible to pay rent from the time deposit is received.  Included in the rental amount are all utilities (except cable and internet). Maximum occupancy per unit is 3 people.       1)      Contact the Property Manager to ensure availability.   Marolt Ranch Seasonal Housing - John Mickles maroltranch@ci.aspen.co.us            2)      Submit a Seasonal Rental Approval Packet, that includes:   (a)   A valid Colorado driver's license or a Colorado ID card; or a US military card or military dependent's ID card; or a US coast guard merchant mariner card; or a native American tribal document, AND,   (b)   Lawful Presence Affidavit (The affidavit will be verified thru the System Alien Verification for   Entitlements, also known as the SAVE PROGRAM), AND,   (c)   Employment Verification Form for each employer, AND,      (FULL TIME employment (a minimum of 30 hours per week) for the season       in Pitkin County must be verified by November 27, 2008)   (d) $25.00 application fee, payable to the "City of Aspen".   **The Housing Office will fax approval to the Property Manager.   3)      Contact the Property Manager to schedule a time to sign a lease and pay deposit of monies. Cashier’s checks and money orders only.   ·         Make checks payable to the “City of Aspen” for $3,090.00 USD (First month’s rent, last month’s rent and security deposit)       TO CONDITIONALLY SECURE A UNIT BY MAIL:   1)       Talk to Property Manager to ensure availability.   2)    Submit a completed and signed copy of theMarolt Ranch Housing Conditional Agreement with payment for the deposit monies to the Property Manager, Cashier’s checks and money orders only.
